Bali flower underwire bra
Pros: Fantastic support and construction. The support comes mostly from the band, rather than the straps. The straps are not stretchy, which is great for me because it stops that uncomfortable bounce. They are soft and comfortable, though, and since the support comes from the band, I don’t have any issues with the fact they don’t stretch. This bra is as supportive as (or more supportive than) most exercise bras I’ve tried, including the expensive ones, without that uncomfortable squashing. Price! This bra gives the support of a $$$ bra for a $ price.
Cons: The wonderful support comes from solidly constructed cups, meaning it has seams. The seam across the nipple may bother some; it took some getting used to for me the first time I tried this bra many years ago. It is covered with soft fabric, which helps. The seam can be visible through thin, clingy clothes. The shape it gives is that of a well-supported breast (cone-shaped), rather than the rounded shape of a typical T-shirt bra. Not an issue under less clingy clothes, but in tight clothing it provides a rather vintage silhouette. I can handle that, if it keeps my girls from heading waistward in the future.
